The Journey of Success
The pressure of the distance between us and our goals is tough
But we can be more resilient!
Three things exist in this space
> Desire
>Imposter Syndrome
>Experimentation
The problem is not our goals or the plans
But the confusing cocktail of emotions we deal with from the above aspects
At first, We have a passionate desire to
-Get better
-Be outstanding
-Live blissfully
but the imposter monster decides to show up and show out
Once that little whisper of doubt hits, all our plans go to shit
We move on to experiment, looking for the quickest route to our destination, and forget success is a journey!
Our logic goes out of the window, and the relentless cycle of insecurities takes over.
The cycle is vicious but beatable!
Most people get stuck in the self-doubt cycle, which impairs their ability to act.
This doesn’t have to be the case!
Three important things to remember in this phase:
- Self-doubt is a part of the process of change
- Change is uncomfortable and scary
- Profound transformation yields from beating the most nerve-wracking odds
I recently found a new, simple mantra to silence the whisper of doubt, thanks to @Vivian Echefu:
“There’s always someone who needs what you have to offer!”
This little phrase is a powerful reminder your value is needed no matter what your brain and the odds say.
It’s a motivation to work on our goals as it’s the only way to contribute and share our invaluable gifts to the world and leave a legacy.
The journey to success is not easy, but reminding ourselves of the blessings our values yield is an eminent inspiration to walk the distance and crush our goals.
